Inscription on the back, "A le dolce manine della gentile signorina Maria Delli Colli." It is not signed by either Aurelio or Roberto. This indicates that Maria was known to Roberto while he was in Montreal and was a contender for her hand.

Roberto had a good head of hair at this date, but lost most of it during the war.
