The Bambino is Aurelio, the father is Roberton the donkey maybe just "CIUCCO" which was the slang name for donkeys, and even for humans. It was smart enough not to go out of the stable and be stolen.

Because I was born in 1922 and dad returned to Canada in 1925, the photo was taken sometime inbetween.
